I reached out to Heather in January asking her to help me plan my destination wedding. She had planned several of my last vacations and had done a fantastic job! I was so relieved to hear that she also planned destination weddings! She provided amazing options based on my specific requests. Typically destination weddings are planned out at least a year in advanceā¦ours was planned in less than 7 months, which didnāt give our guests much time to plan. Heather worked with each guest individually to coordinate their trip, customizing each booking to their specific needs. She was absolutely amazing to work with. She was thorough and detailed which made this process extremely seamless! She was also able to get us upgraded to Preferred! The trip and wedding were beyond perfect! I am forever grateful for the time, effort, and expertise Heather offered during the wedding planning! I highly recommend Heather for planning your next trip or destination wedding! She is the best!!

I loved working with Heather, she was so responsive, gave me so many options, but not too many I had paralysis by analysis. I think she sent me 5 to start with and I refined what I was looking for in a destination and she would give me three more options in that vein, I tweak something again and sheād give me a few more toppings. She was also able to share if she had personally been to the locations, knew people who had been there through her work, or had personal friends go there. Some she was even traveling to in the coming weeks. I felt very safe with Heather because didnāt get a sales vibe, she seemed like an authentic human just trying to help me out and I super appreciated that.
She handled all the bookings for our guests. It ended up being a smaller party, just the nature of an adults only resort and a destination, so I think we invited around 100-80 and we had like 40 book or something around that. Heather created a website so we can send people to that link ( we made a QR code for our invitations and also had it to text folks). She priced out different room options, made sure transportation to and from hotel was covered for everyone, and handled all the engagement with the hotelā¦so we didnāt lose any money if we didnāt have a certain amount of rooms booked in time.
She handled literally everything to include we had a friend that was a new mom and was going to stay at a near by property and she handled all of that coordination from day passes, access to our resort, pricing with the other placeā¦all the communication with the friendā¦she was great!
Heather followed up while we were there to check in to see how things were going but it wasnāt overbearing in the slightest. She some how balanced being caring and available if we needed anything but didnāt hit me up every day so I actually got to enjoy the time at the resort and with our guests.
Overall, I would recommend Heather. She got me in contact with the people I needed to at the resort, she handled all the bookings with the guests and we didnāt have a single issue, she was knowledgeable about the various options when it came to resorts, and she was just an awesome personā¦super easy to talk to, very communicative and responsive. She made the whole thing so easy for us and I loved it!

I've gone to Disney World four times since it has reopened after shutting down because of Covid. Each time it became busier and busier and then eventually Genie + was introduced. Many were skeptical that a once free service now costs $15 per person per day and doesn't include every single one of the rides. In each of the four parks there are two rides that are an additional amount in order to use the lightning lane (formerly known as the fast lane)... One of which is the most coveted ride in the galaxy, 'Rise of the Resistance.' I decided to go to Disney World over Christmas 2021 and check out what Genie + was all about. Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year so it was a good time to see if Genie + would save time.
The differences:
Both systems allow you to pick an hour timeframe to return to the specific ride. The old fast pass system allowed you to pick three rides in advance (like 30 days in advance). With Genie +, you're picking the rides the day of... One at a time. You can pick the first ride at 7am the day of, and if that ride is scheduled more than two hours after the park opens, you can pick another ride at that point (two hours after the park opens, whichever park(s) you are attending that day). Then after you ride the ride you selected you can pick a different ride two hours later. It sounds super complicated but honestly once you do it the first day you get the hang of it. As far as the rides that are not included, you can pick those at 7am as well.
The Verdict:
I hate waiting in lines and even on the busiest of weeks I was able to zip through lines no problem. You do want to be on top of your game when it's time to make another reservation. Also, they can fill up so pick the busiest or your favorites first. I also purchased the separate rides such as Rise of the Resistance and I walked right in. It was the same for Genie + fast pass lines. Gone is the day of just waiting in another line! I zipped right in and it was amazing.
So my advice, I 10/10 recommend you try Disney's newest fast pass system, Genie +!
